Are you using the right pillow to match your sleep position?

We all have our favourite sleeping position, whether that be the starfish or log, and there’s no denying that we all need our beauty sleep.

We have decided to share our favourite sleeping positions along with our recommendations for the best pillows to match your sleep style. By following our simple guidance, you should be able to get the best night’s sleep both for your general wellbeing and the health of your back.

The Starfish

A popular sleep position is a starfish; people who sleep in the starfish position tend to sleep with all their limbs stretched out.

Which pillow suits this position?

No matter how stretched out your limbs are, as a starfish sleeper, you still need to support your head and neck – duck feather bolster is an ideal pillow choice for you.

Side Sleeper

The side sleeping position is equally as popular, and sleeping on your side usually means you’re most comfortable lying on your side with both of your hands resting under your head.

Our side sleeper pillow is the best choice for you. Its rectangular shape and 3D block sides offer the best support for your neck and shoulders, making it a great choice if you sleep on your side.

Back Sleeper

Sleeping on your back, you’re most comfortable lying flat on your back with your arms by your sides.

Our back sleeper pillow has been designed with a rectangular box shape. It is extra thick with deep sides, giving it great neck support and making it perfect for back sleepers.

The Baby

If you sleep in the foetal position then you’re used to regularly sleeping on your side with your arms and legs resting closely to your chest.

Which pillow suits this position?

The foetal position is much like the side sleeper position, except you’ll regularly sleep with your arms and knees bent. You’ll need the most support under your neck and shoulders, so we recommend our side sleeper pillow.

Stomach Sleepers

This position will usually mean you sleep flat on your stomach with your arms either by your side or underneath your head.

Which pillow suits this position?

Although sleeping on your stomach regularly isn’t highly advised, our duck feather bolster is designed to allow the sleeper to sink into the pillow with ease, making sleeping on your stomach as comfortable as possible.

The Tree

The tree position will usually see sleepers lie on their side, keeping their body and limbs straight, with their arms by their side.

Which pillow suits this position?

Another side sleeping position, this position will mean there is very little movement whilst asleep. If you regularly sleep like this, you’ll want plenty of support at your shoulders and neck, therefore we recommend a side sleeper pillow

Whatever your sleep position, it is important to regularly check your bedding to ensure that it’s all still fit for purpose and able to help you get a great night’s sleep.
