Looking around, reviews on traditional fold up beds seemed to point to weak wooden slats and i've had terrible experiences with fully inflatable beds. Then after much searching I came across 'the anywhere bed'. It came in a neat bag - similar to a baby's travel cot in size, with 2 little wheels for easier transportation. On removal from it's bag, you have the base (like a canvas camp bed) which you open up and pull the legs out, simple as that. Then you have an inflatable mattress which you pop inside the sewn in sheet on the bed, inflate with the provided pump and then zip up the sheet so you have your complete bed. I like the fact that because the mattress goes inside the sheet, it won't fall off or move around the bed. The bed is light enough to move around should you need to and most importantly my guest deemed it very comfortable. I had a go too and felt secure and comfy on the bed. I would definitely recommend if you need a new guest bed to go with one of these. Only minor downsides are, that being an inflatable, it will need a top-up pump if being used for a while, but that is perfectly normal, and the squeaky noise getting in and out of the bed also normal. The frame is without fault...I havn't tried putting the bed away yet, but even if it doesn't all squeeze back into it's bag, it's still small enough to be stored separately without issue.
