Is a medium mattress good for those of a heavier stature?
Someone of a heavier stature should be looking at firmer mattresses, such as medium firm, firm and extra firm tensions. This is because the tension in the springs are more rigid in these tensions and therefore is better at supporting you and evenly distributing your weight throughout the mattress. With a medium mattress, too much weight would cause the springs to deteriorate quicker and you would likely wake up with back pain.
