About the Role

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join our team in Norwich, UK. This is a permanent, full-time role working strictly on-site (no remote or hybrid options). In this position, you will build and maintain user-friendly web interfaces using modern web standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code and design, comfortable working closely with UX designers, and able to turn Figma design files into responsive, high-quality web pages.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining websites and web applications using HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

  • Building responsive layouts using frameworks such as Bootstrap, ensuring compatibility across all major browsers

  • Translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect, interactive web pages

  • Editing front-end code within .ASPX pages using Visual Studio and collaborating with back-end developers for seamless integration

  • Testing, debugging and optimising web pages for performance and user experience

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/Sass

  • Proficient in vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) and comfortable using jQuery

  • Experience with Bootstrap for responsive, mobile-first development

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and working with .ASPX pages

  • Confident interpreting Figma designs and collaborating with designers

Desirable Skills

  • Basic understanding of C# or VB.NET and MS SQL

  • Knowledge of how front-end code integrates with back-end APIs

  • Experience with version control tools like Git and collaborative workflows

Attributes

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, well-structured code

  • Able to showcase previous work through a portfolio, code samples or related coursework
