At Mattressman, we're looking for a Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support our dynamic Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Brand, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing our content to life, building our online community, and making our brand stand out across platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

What You’ll Be Doing

Content Creation and Ideation

  • Assist in producing engaging short-form video content for social platforms

  • Support with ideation, filming, editing, and publishing aligned with brand tone

  • Contribute to basic graphic design or photography needs (design experience a bonus)

Influencer Marketing and Partnerships

  • Coordinate influencer outreach, gifting, and campaign communications

  • Research and identify up-and-coming content creators

  • Track and report on influencer performance metrics

Marketing Admin and Campaign Support

  • Assist with marketing materials including POS, ticketing, and logistics

  • Provide support to the CRM Manager and Graphic Designer with campaign tasks

  • Write short-form copy and contribute to campaign scheduling and planning

Community and Brand Engagement

  • Monitor and engage with our audience on social media

  • Respond to comments and messages using an on-brand tone

  • Help foster a growing, loyal Mattressman community

Trend Tracking and Creative Input

  • Stay updated on the latest content trends and formats

  • Bring new ideas and creative inspiration to weekly team discussions

What You’ll Bring

  • Basic experience with video editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Rush

  • Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms and tools

  • A confident, creative personality who enjoys being both behind and in front of the camera

  • A strong sense of organisation and attention to detail

  • Enthusiasm for social media, especially TikTok and Instagram

  • A collaborative, proactive approach and willingness to juggle multiple projects

  • Bonus: Graphic design skills using Photoshop, Canva, or Illustrator
