I give 3 stars only because, and be aware, the bar that goes across will cause you and your kid to bang their head ha ha ha. I know you'll think you'll learn. But we had it a year and it got us every time. Didn't keep it more than a year as my daughter got cold sleeping so close to the floor. We got rid of it and got a cheap white bed from Argos
