Very pleased with this bed. It seems well made and very sturdy. Some patches of the wood weren't as smooth as others, but this may simply be because it's real, unvarnished wood. Assembly was very straightforward. It would have been nice if there were some small pre-drilled holes in the rail the slats are screwed into to make attaching the slats easier. This is the part we found the hardest, but we both have chronic health conditions that make this sort of thing difficult so it may not be an issue for most. And as a nice bonus, the pine wood has a lovely scent.
