The Bedframe was as described. the wood is a soft pine, with only a light wash of paint on it. I expected a gloss paint, but perhaps I didn’t read the description properly. The finish is ok, but may not match in other situations. Lots of bits to assemble, so took time. The finished bed frame is nice and firm and strong.

Great bed - it's not the fanciest and you have to be careful you don't use the wrong bolds but sturdy as hell and no creaks. Only minor thing I found a little odd is that the sides.come.in two halves but really nothing wrong with it. Great for the price.

Fantastic solid wood bed. I read the reviews beforehand and noticed a few comments about the slats, so I put them closer together and bought some timber to fill the gap. They are very solid so hopefully should last a few years.
