I finally got round to changing my mattress, having put it off for too many years! I had a Silentnight mattress for many years before it started to feel uncomfortable. I researched the market and tried dozens of different brands. Although one or two came close I found that Silentnight were still the best option for me. I’m a warm sleeper so I’m delighted with the geltex layer on the top of the mattress. I’m now sleeping much better than in recent years. If you’re looking for a cooler, medium firm mattress look at the Silentnight geltex 3000. It’s a great quality mattress, I highly recommend this mattress. I bought from Mattressman for a great price, they delivered it to my bedroom. They also removed the old mattress for a small fee. A great team with a fantastic mattress at a very competitive price.

I bought this to replace a >£2k mattress that only lasted 6 years then started to give me aches. I saw it on the M&S site abd the reviews were great. I would nearly always buy from a ‘big brand’ but this was cheaper at Mattressman & they took away my old one, which as a woman on my own was important. The mattress is divine! I’m a back sleeper and don’t use a pillow, and this gives perfect support to my spine. I get achy hips as I walk around 2-3 hours a day (and am getting older!) but haven’t ached once since getting this, so it’s clearly cushioning me in my sleep. The only downside is the dog loves it a bit too much, have to shove him off more than before!

Very happy with this mattress. It is deeper than my last mattress but seems supportive without being too soft. Only a couple of days in and there is still the chemical smell from the foam topping but that will dissipate soon, hopefully. It’s a bit of a beast though! - it was a real heave to get it up the stairs ( 63kg…) and takes muscle power to get the fitted sheet on. I believe it’s very similar to the mattress used by Premier Inn so it seems like a good choice.

I havent been sleeping good for the past 2 months due to backache and getting by on around 4 hours sleep..I decided to see if I needed a new mattress. I had a trial on a simba and had to send back because my back was worse than ever ..then I decided on the silentnight. Ohh I wish I had done it sooner.. no more aches and pains and im sleeping at least 8 hours a night..i have only had it a week so it's early days but im very impressed so far.

This was a replacement for a faulty (not Silentnight) mattress,. We tried it in store before ordering. We have had it 3 months and it is great, very comfortable and we are sleeping so much better. For us this is a great buy. Mattressman was very good about the complaint about our previous mattress & it was sorted in a reasonable amount of time.

First, it was delivered on time. The mattress is good ??. I was always having a painful lower back, but since after purchasing this mattress, l have no reason to complain. The mattress is soft and firm at the same time. But l am enjoying at present. But I have only had it now for two weeks. This assessment of the mattress may be too early.
