The bed was as promised in the pictures. It was easy enough to assemble, however it is most definitely a two person job. The first time closing the bed is a little scary as it is stiff and feels like it might break, but I had a similar experience with a similar bed, but different make and company, so I think that’s normal. The bed itself is beautiful and good quality.

The finished product looks very good and seems very sound. However (while I think I am pretty good at DIY) it took me about 2.5 hours to assemble the bed, and I found it fairly laborious. Hence my 1 star rating for ease of assembly.
