Is this collection suitable for me?

The bed's size and style will likely determine whether you purchase from this collection.

Size

Single beds are designed for solo sleepers; therefore, if you share a bed, we recommend a larger bed to accommodate both sleepers. We often find that single beds are popular additions to guest rooms; spare rooms are rarely occupied, so a large bed isn't always needed.

Style

Depending on the style, a metal frame can adopt either a traditional or modern aesthetic, but white bed frames are tailor-made for any contemporary bedroom. However, as we feature bed frames with beautiful finials, a bed from our collection is a great match for your traditionally styled room. One of the other appeals of the white finish is its versatility; the neutral hue of white means it's likely to be a great match for various colour schemes. Before settling on your preferred white metal bed frame, envisage how well it'll complement your bedroom's style and existing furniture.

Aside from style, metal bed frames are recognised for their durability, ensuring your new bed will withstand the test of time.

How important is integrated storage to you?

Ottoman and similar storage bed variations allow you to save space by accommodating possessions within the bed frame. However, only a proportion of our beds feature integrated storage; therefore, you may prioritise style over practicality. Our white metal single bed collection doesn't feature ottoman beds; therefore, you should consider whether storage is necessary.

Other important considerations

Low footend or high footend

These terms refer to whether there's a unit at the end of the bed or not. If you're looking for your bed frame to stand out and capture the room's attention, we recommend opting for a bed with a high footend. Alternatively, a low footend places less emphasis on the bed and is ideal for giving off the impression of a larger room.

Sprung or solid slats

A comfortable night's sleep is guaranteed with any of our bed frames; however, the bed's slats contribute to different comfort and support offerings. Solid slats provide firmer mattress support, whereas a sprung slatted base allows for more of a 'bouncier feel'.

What brands can I choose from?

LPD Furniture, Time Living, Julian Bowen and Heartlands Furniture contribute to our wonderful collection.
