Rest Assured Kelbrook Mattress

This is a true firm mattress. I didn’t find any others in UK stores when I was looking. I was initially concerned about how the tufts would feel, as I always had flat beds. But I have since learned that this is the show of hand crafted mattresses. This mattress came flat, no rolled up at a full 37 kgs but man is it sturdy. I have suffered from lower, mid and upper back pain, you name it. I know a harder bed would help as it did in my childhood. The first two weeks, were an adjustment. But it is true you have to break in the bed. Then, I was really able to appreciate the support it gave me and keep waking up pain free. It also much more breathable and less hot than a foam mattress. My partner can move in the bed and I don’t feel it which is a plus for sleeping through the night. Many people say that a hard mattress is not good for side sleeping but I honestly don’t think that is true, especially if you have a tall enough pillow and a pillow in between your legs - your hips and shoulders will be ok. This mattress is great support for back sleeping, stomach sleeping and (yes) side sleeping. A true hard European-style bed, well done.

Exactly what I needed for my back condition. Very firm, but also comfortable. Feel properly supported, especially being a front sleeper. I’ve tried several mattresses over the last few months, so it’s such a relief to have found this one at a great price too. I originally bought the British Bed Company Hotel Rest Deluxe, which for me was a little too bouncy. So if you’re looking for a solid mattress, I would definitely recommend the rest assured Kelbrook. Service and delivery was excellent as well, and very easy to swap the mattresses over.

A good night’s sleep is no longer a pipe dream! What a delight to finally sleep on something that doesn’t feel like a giant marshmallow. Years of Asia living trained me to prefer a more firm mattress and this does the trick. It feels great on my old lady back! Highly recommend!

Seems to be a very comfortable mattress. This is much better than the previous mattress we exchanged it for. ( British Bed Co Legend which significantly sagged after only a couple of weeks ). Would recommend this mattress.
