It went together well, needed two of us just to manoeuvre into place and hold things steady really. The leather is very fragile and a little split appeared when we were moving the headboard but luckily it was on a side we could hide so have just taped it. Daughter has slept in it one night so far and said it is comfy and the storage is really handy.
