What is Airmesh?

Airmesh is a multi-layer knitted fabric used as part of the mattress cover. The structure creates small air pockets between the fibres, which allow warm air to escape from the comfort layers below rather than building up against your skin. The effect is most noticeable on traditional memory foam mattresses, which would otherwise sleep noticeably warm.

Which mattresses use Airmesh?

Airmesh is found primarily on Silentnight's mid-range pocket sprung models, often paired with a memory foam or fibre comfort layer. It's a useful feature for sleepers who run warm but want the cushioning of a memory foam top.
