We bought this frame as we bought a new mattress elsewhere that required the slats to be less than 7cm apart. This fits the bill perfectly, the slats are no more than 5cm apart, and it fits our fairly weighty mattress well. I love the rattan design, and structurally the frame feels solid.

I would say not a bad little bed for the price , maybe a child’s or spare room would be better suited Would point out thou that the thickness of the mattress makes a difference. The one we chose is quite thick so just about fits the frame.
