After just over 1 year of use the metal bedframe snapped. Me and my partner are not overweight so wouldn't expect this to happen. The side where the bed didn't go up always fell off the wooden holders so the bed was almost always on an angle. I wouldn't recommend the bed as the price we paid was massively over what we got and how long it lasted. We now have a bed at half the price that is structured perfectly from Bensons for Beds.
