Formed over ten years ago, Mattressman’s Managing Director, Andrew Kerry, had the initial idea to sell mattresses online and set about creating the first UK company to do this. The challenge he faced was to get these beds to the customers safely and without damage.

Andrew went to work and came up with the idea of a special kind of reinforced box which could take the stress of long transit and shipping without allowing the mattresses inside to become damaged. The box was a success and Mattressman was born.

Mattressman often makes appearances in the local community too - at events such as festivals and conventions. We also sponsor Lincoln City Football Club.

We’re really proud of the work we do here at Mattressman and our efforts haven’t gone unrecognised. Mattressman was awarded the Sunday Times Fast Track award in 2009 as ‘Britain’s 6th Fastest Growing Company’ and, most recently, we were also awarded the Eastern Daily Press E-Commerce Initiative Award in October of 2011.
