Solid pine wood

Absolutely love this bed, firstly the delivery was great, despatched really fast, the quality of the bed is excellent and very easy to put together, it looks a very expensive item but at a great price. Our double mattress fits perfect with no gaps.
Lovey bed. Very easy to assemble, the instructions are clear. The quality is very good. We were a little concerned as another review said they slates were rough and would damage the mattress, so we checked each slate and whilst some patches were indeed rough the majority was smooth. The slate spacer was very useful. Very pleased with the purchase and glad we opted for this frame instead of another one we were looking at.

Whilst the parts of the bedframe which are visible are of a high quality, I was very disappointed that I had to sand rough edges off every slat for the base before I could even consider putting my new, very expensive mattress onto said slats. Definitely not my best internet purchase.

The Corona High End Bed is exactly what I have been looking for for some time now, I wanted a bed frame that was solid and also pleasant to look at, most of the wooden frame beds I have seen just didn`t tick all my boxes, I could hardly believe my luck when I found the Corona, price wise it was spot on too which was harder to believe. A fab service. Easy to order and no hanging around for weeks before delivery. Items were well wrapped and these two novices really appreciated that the bolts, screws etc had already been separated into individual bags, each with a letter inside to aid identification. This certainly reduces the time it took to make the bed. We managed to do it in just over two hours. The bed once made is sturdy and looks good. Much better than the price suggested it would. Ok for the money, but there were slight splits in the wood so I am not quite sure how long the bed will last.
It looks lovely, well made & easy to put together, was packaged well & instructions easy to follow
Lovely bed easy to assemble will take 2 people to do it, The slats screw directly to the bed base which I liked and having the spacers supplied made it easy to space the slats out. The only thing I had to add to the bed was a couple of brackets to the base to stop the under bed to floor supports from moving. Overall a very nice bed.
