The Hornblower guest bed from Julian Bowen is a solid MDF construction. This genius design features another single bed underneath which is easily accessible on a pull-out trestle. Not only is the Hornblower's quality and craftsmanship outstanding, there are 3 storage drawers (top 3 drawers are cosmetic only). This amazing bed would be perfect for any child's room where space is an issue. Finished in natural the Hornblower from Julian Bowen does not come with mattresses but many available from our website would suit it.

Please note guest mattress should be 18cm deep or thinner.

My four year old loves her new “big…

My four year old loves her new “big girl bed” and especially likes the heart detailing. It was easy to construct, although I couldn’t press the sprung slats into the frame as per the instructions, it just took a bit of gentle persuasion with a hammer. Once built however feels sturdy, the mattress we already had fits it perfectly and there is no “creaking” even with a wiggley four year old in it. Really pleased and hopefully this should last her for a good few years to come.

Great service

When i entered the shop i was ask if i needed any help which i accepted. After some advice from the assistant i was then left to look around in my own time there was no pressure sales from the assistant. After making up my mind on which mattress i wanted the assistant dealt with my order asking which day i would prefer the mattresses to be delivered. The delivery was made on time and the two lads that delivered were helpful and friendly. Top marks.
