The Moscow by Silentnight uses a highly responsive memory foam in conjunction with 1200 independent pockets springs to realise an exceptional sleeping experience.

Hippo and Duck, Silentnight’s legendary duo, love the Moscow too! Its memory foam layer improves your circulation and prevents the development of undesirable pressure points; while the Mirapocket® spring system works to prevent ‘roll together’ and support the spine’s natural S-shape.

The mattress is also treated with Purotex®, a 100% natural solution to household dust mites and mould. Comes with a 5-year warranty.

Am I suitable for a medium mattress?

If you're of an average or lighter stature, a medium mattress will be great for your body type. This is because the springs in this tension are not particularly rigid, especially when you compare them to the three tensions above medium. If too much weight is placed on this mattress for a prolonged period of time, the mattress could deteriorate quickly. It's worth considering a medium firm mattress if you don't fit in this category, or indeed if you sleep with a partner.

What sleeping positions work best with a medium tension?

For those who interchange between back and side sleeping, a medium mattress will best support you. Side sleepers need extra cushioning around the hips and shoulders to promote natural spine alignment, which is provided by a softer mattress. Back sleepers are best suited to a firmer mattress as it supports the lower back in a way to also help encourage healthy back posture. Thus, a medium mattress is a good compromise to adequately support both positions whilst sleeping.
