The Grand Duke mattress is filled with the finest quality natural fillings, including wool, silk, cashmere, and temperature-regulating cotton. The silk is used on the top of the mattress to give it a soft, light, opulent feel.
The Grand Duke is softer than its predecessor, the Duke, and contains all of the same features, like the British Bed Company's exclusive bulldog border, which reinforces the sides of the frame so you can sleep right up to the edge of the mattress and still feel perfectly supported.
Consisting of a whopping 2000 pocket springs, the Grand Duke is the ultimate mattress when it comes to providing you and your partner with all the comfort and support you could possibly need.
Please note that 4' mattresses or smaller don't come with end handles, however side handles are still provided. On 4'6" mattresses and above, end handles are provided.

This mattress was bought for two `very heavy` individuals and fitted the criteria specified as being most important, that being at least 30 cms thick and extra firm for `obese` people. The mattress was quite heavy and `solid` in its construaction and has a excellant feel of quality about it. And the result in the two weeks that it has been in use has been very positive from both individuals concerned as they have found it extremely comfortable to sleep on and has almost eliminated back pains the

Tried so many mattresses in so many places before coming across this one. Added bonus of an online discount made the decision easy. Having slept on it now for a couple of weeks would highly recomend to anyone and quality seems built to last as well.

Really pleased with my purchase; the mattress was comfortable from day one and is really warm. I was impressed by the way it was packed in a double wrapping of thick clear plastic with extra protection at each corner. Although it is a "Firm" it is not rock solid, you still sink into it, which is considerably more comfortable than I had anticipated.

Lovely and comfortable mattress. Its a very deep and and a well made item, due to its size we nearly did not get it up our stairs as they have a 90 degree bend and limited headroom, however I gave the guys a bit of extra help and it went up. They were a couple of superb guys and very helpful.

AMAZING!! Great service, quality and price. This is the best mattress I have slept on, you honestly feel like you are sleeping on luxury for a price that wont break the bank. You can`t put a price on a good nights sleep :-).

This is the best mattress we have ever had firm but very comfortable

Well made and heavy mattress, firm without being too hard and very comfortable. Can`t feel if my partner moves on the other side of the bed! Delivery was prompt and easy to organise. I will be using mattress man again.
Have just replaced a memory foam mattress with this one. Only had it for four months, no support very hot and found we slid down the bed, this one is Sooo good, nice support, best sleep we have had for a long long time. Only wish I had seen it earlier. Only fault was one man delivery to door, was beyond a joke, it was so heavy, no way he could move it on his own, we struggled. Would suggest paying extra to have it put in bedroom. It does however need turning which is a job in itself, our weekl

Bought this mattress for our guest room so hasn`t been slept on yet. However, first impressions are of a very good quality, firm product delivered promptly. This is my second purchase from Mattressman and my current mattress gives me the best night`s sleep! Would recommend Mattressman for quality products, good prices and efficient service.
It`s a firm mattress I bought. At the start it`s uncomfortable, but gradually it softens up. I am a heavy guy (Husky size) and this mattress has made my sleep easy. :)
