We know it’s tempting to start planning your next festival straight away or scrolling through photos from your weekend away, but putting down your phone before bed will not only keep those blues at bay but has been proven to help you get a better night’s sleep!
With the music of your favourite band still ringing in your ears and the festival blues settling in, we thought today would be the perfect time to share our tips on how to get a good night’s sleep and make the thought of you’re muddy tent a distant memory!
Ditch the Tech Before You Get into Bed!
Soak the Blues Away
After all the music and mud, you’ll definitely be in need of a little R&R! A long soak in the bath will not only help your feet after all that dancing, but a bath right before bed can help you to unwind and prepare your body for some well earned rest.
Music may be the last thing on your mind when you think of going to sleep, but listening to soothing sounds is guaranteed to help you drift off and feel a million miles away from any sodden tent or muddy field.
Schedule in a Routine
Much like how you would schedule in time at a festival to see your favourite band, your sleep is just as important when you get back home! A weekend of music and dancing can really throw your sleep pattern out, so make sure you schedule in a set time for bed each night. A full night’s sleep and a regular routine will have you bright eyed and free of the festival blues in no time!
