This Shire mattress also has a 6 gauge rod edging which means you will get the same level of support even at the edge of the mattress. This hand tufted mattress features air vents which allow the Opal to breathe, reducing the build up of moisture and keeping humidity to a low. The flag stitched handles help with maneuvering the mattress which is useful when the Opal requires turning.
