Pocket springs are individually incased in separate fabric pouches to promote free movement, creating a perfect platform using the shape of your body. Hand tied with linen cord, each of the 3400 springs are firmly held in a honeycomb pattern for exceptional coverage. The twin spring design consists of two layers of springs which provide a supportive base by absorbing changes in weight distribution, whilst the top layer concentrates on comfort.

To preserve the mattress's plumpness, it has been hand tufted with wool in the tried and tested traditional way. Five rows of hand side stitching help to extend the sleeping area right up to the edges by supporting the mattress walls. Silver+ Protection is a coating based on the microparticles of silver ions, designed to dramatically reduce microbial growth for a fresh and hygenic fabric.

In the king size model of the divan base, there are 1000 pocket springs. This luxury base is hand tufted and has two rows of side stitching creating an outstanding sleeping foundation. No drawer options are available for the Emperor Divan Set due to the nature of the base.
